Hello and Welcome to our site ; Our group consists of four members . Having an interest in Media film productions, we are all determined to achieve the best we can as a whole. Through our creativity and analytical skills we will able to develop an interesting and enticing teaser trailer, front cover magazine and movie poster. We have agreed to work together as a family and work harder individually to create a jaw-dropping masterpiece.
Our names are Tomi Ojo, Daniel Olugbade, Rosemary Ekanem and Natalie Wilson and over this academic year we will be working together to produce a teaser trailer, movie poster and movie magazine.
For our coursework task we have been divided into a group of four and in our group we have decided to give our 100% dedication to fulfill a great achievement with our work.
Our task is to produce a 30-50 second horror teaser trailer. For the trailer, we will be in charge of filming, editing and producing the trailer. Alongside this we will have to produce a magazine front cover and movie poster to advertise our film. For us to be able to produce a brilliant piece of work, we have taken different roles and have been assigned to various tasks. By doing this we feel each member will have an important job to do which will help us come out with a good outcome of our overall media coursework.
Extensive research and planning must be done to ensure we understand the task thoroughly; this will include writing textual analysis' on existing forms of media on films, posters and magazine front covers. This will help us to know if we are following the conventions of the horror genre.
Group Members & Our roles
Daniel Olugbade : Will primarily be in charge of the editing of the group trailer. Although all members will be involved in doing this, we will be able to use Daniels past experience to help us. In the past Daniel has been involved in the filming and editing of a short movie for a local youth club. The group was able to see this movie and are happy with the way he was able to put this film together and feel that we can use Daniels skills to help us to produce an excellent piece of work
Rosemary Ekanem- is in charge of the creativity of the project. By Studying Graphic Design in college she has learnt how to digitally alter images and has good Photoshop skills. Rosemary's role is to be in charge of the creative aspects of the Project including designing the drafts of the movie posters and storyboard for the horror trailer. She enjoys coming up with innovative ideas and with her creative skill we will be able produce an excellent project.
Natalie Wilson nominated herself to be in charge of makeup and costume. She has been involved in fashion shows in the past and therefore feels that she can use her skills to help the group. Natalie has also taken her initiative to start research in to horror makeup by watching tutorials which has already given her a head start with this. Natalie’s enthusiasm about Makeup and fashion will able her to help to group reach its full potential.
Tomi Ojo: is responsible for directing and filming, blog administration and script writing, being an organised person, Tomi nominated herself and assured the group members that all tasks will meet the deadlines set and all group members will work to their full ability to make the project a fun educating and good experience as a whole.
